Over the past three years, I have worked day and night on this project in order to help humanity. But none of this would have been possible without my friends and colleagues. On May 17, 2023, I accomplished my goal of curing cancer. Ever since I was a teenager, I have wanted to become a doctor, and in 2019, I graduated medical school in Little Rock, Arkansas, at U.A.M.S. It was there that I began my in depth research on cancer. There are three important groups that I owe this accomplishment to. My parents & friends, my colleagues, and God. Without them, I would not be here in front of over 12,000 people giving this acceptance speech.
I would first of all like to thank everyone for nominating me for this prestigious award and voting for me. I am grateful from the bottom of my heart. I must say that this award is only icing on the cake. The true award is knowing that I am able to save thousands of lives with this cure, and the feeling of accomplishment it has provided me with. Yearning for this feeling is why I became a doctor and worked so hard throughout my life.
Without my family and friends pushing me from the beginning, none of this would have been possible. Though their constant encouragement and trust in me, they have helped me to reach my goals, and I will always be thankful for them. Next I would like to thank my colleagues at the research hospital. Without their guidance and support, I never would have found my breakthrough. Lastly and most importantly, I am going to thank God for bestowing this accomplishment to me. Without Him nothing is possible, and He has helped me to reach my goals the most.
This Nobel Peace Prize will forever be cherished my me, and I am very thankful to the world for giving me such a high honor. This is only part of the work doctors must due to ensure that lives are not lost.

School This Year
This school year has been both good and bad in many ways. I have learned a lot this year, although there was way too much homework. I do not understand why teachers give so much homework, I guess they don't realize we have other things to do. But other than the homework, the material hasn't been incredibly difficult, except for the teachers who haven't taught us anything. I have become closer to a lot of my friends this year, and I am ready for the summer because I hate coming to school these days. I have had many good memories this year, and some bad ones too. Living alone this year has had its ups and downs. Since my brothers are in college, I do not get to see them a lot, and I do not like that. I cannot wait for them to do get home in two weeks. I have enjoyed going to the football and basketball games earlier this year, and prom was a blast! I also had a great time being in the play, although it was very stressful. I made several friends during all of the practices, and I am glad for that. I'm ready for the summer for several reasons. I plan on working out a ton, and getting to spend time with my brothers! I also plan to visit my family in New York and go on a road trip. I have mixed feelings about senior year. I am glad I will finally get to leave this town after 18 years. But I do not want to leave my friends. I know my real friends will remain though. All in all, my junior year has been pretty good, but I am ready for it to be over!

West Side Story
West Side Story takes place during the mid-1950s in New York City. There are two rival street gangs, the Sharks and the Jets. The Jets are white, and the Sharks are Puerto Rican. They are constantly fighting over territory and harassing each other. When Tony meets Maria at the school dance, they instantly fall in love, but since he was a founding member of the Jets, although he no longer takes part in the street warfare, and Maria's brother is the leader of the Sharks, they are not able to be together. Secrectly, they begin a relationship together, and Tony tries to break up the fight between the two gangs. After Maria's brother Bernado stabs Riff, Tony stabs Bernado and a huge fight breaks out. When they hear sirens, everybody runs, and Tony finds Bernado dead in the midst of battle. When Chino informs Maria that Tony killed her brother, she is in denial. Tony goes to her house, and they decide to stay together forever because they say they are in love. Anita agrees to help Maria by giving Tony a message, but after the Jets mess with her at the store, she lies and tells them that Chino shot and killed Maria. When Tony learns that Maria is "dead," he cannot believe it. In the streets, Tony is mourning her death when he sees her and is relieved. When they reunite, he is shot by Chino. Tony dies in Maria's arms with both gangs watching. The gangs proceed to fight once Tony dies, but Maria stops them and grabs the gun from Chino. After the gangs realize what they've done, they stop fighting for good.
