I Know What You Did Last Summer

Lois Duncan’s I Know What You Did Last Summer was a nonstop thrill ride. From the first chapter to the last, I was captivated by the chilling story involving a group of teens who accidentally killed a boy.

This book was about four teens that were partying one night and hit a young boy. They were drinking and decided to keep the whole incident a secret, until they begin to get threatening messages form an anonymous person. They went their separate ways after the accident, but now they must unite to solve the mystery as to who knows their secret.

Two of the main characters in this story were Julie James and Ray Bronson. They were a couple before the accident, but Julie could not bear the guilt, so they broke up. She tried to move on with her life, until the note came. Ray decided to move away, but the pain of that night never left him.

I would recommend reading I Know What You Did Last Summer if you enjoy reading scary novels. I also noticed this book was a lot more different than the movie.
